To me the landscape has many layers, but not necessary lined up in one year scale, I believe there are many dimensions even for archaeologists. I guess archaeologists fantasy must also play a role in their work, like who were those people, family, relations, their thoughts and all that and I wonder, can’t it get kind of spooky sometimes? I have an example: Once canoeing on a river in Northern Sweden I came to a place where I suddenly felt like being home. It was right out in the wilderness and I had never before been there. After that I pass that place about 5-6 times more and same thing happened. Have you ever in your work come to an ancient place feeling that there is something here that I can relate to like that?
