Re: Across Borders: The Soul - Introduction
by
naa2007
I too see the soul as being who I am. I believe we are made up of three parts: body, soul and spirit.
The body exists to interface with the physical world. It senses things (e.g. sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch). It wants nothing but to feel good. It passes those things it feels on to the soul.
The soul processes that information and formulates a response. How it does this determines our personality. However, all of this is tempered by input from the spirit.
The spirit is the soul's interface to the spiritual world. I think this may be where the sixth sense resides. I believe it is also where our conscience exists. I believe the spirit is how we commune with God.
I have written a more comprehensive article on my web site.
